Departure Locations for Scheduled Legacy Tours
By serving a wide area and connecting travelers from across that area, Legacy Tour & Travel is able to offer you a more unique and diverse tour calendar while still maintaining optimal group sizes. It allows us to offer value in our pricing, and increases the likelihood of operating as many tour departures as possible.
We are committed to providing just enough departure location options, balancing individual convenience with travel efficiency, cost, and overall group satisfaction. At the time of booking, travelers will be given the opportunity to choose one of the available locations. Depending on your departure location selection, prices may vary. For certain tours, the total number of days may vary as well. "Gathering Days" will often be used prior to the start of the “base tour”, allowing all travelers the convenience of departing from as close to home as possible.

Specific locations may be subject to change, and will be confirmed two weeks prior to departure.
The availability of long-term parking while on tour can no longer be guaranteed at all locations. Where parking is available, vehicles will be left at the owner’s risk.
The option of home pickup and return is available to qualifying travelers in the Chicago area
This currently includes those living in Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry and Will counties in Illinois, along with Lake, Porter, & LaPorte counties in northwest Indiana. This program is primarily designed to offer convenience to the traveler, while also alleviating some of the logistical challenges of gathering a group in large metro areas by utilizing services readily and uniquely available in those areas. For those utilizing the “At Home Pick-up” option, please provide us with detailed directions for your home pick-up at the time of your initial reservation.
