This tour offers departure points in Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois, and Indiana. Depending on your pick-up point selection, the tour duration will be from 11 to 13 days. The price will vary accordingly. The Base Tour, or core, will begin on the day the last group of travelers join the tour, and end on the first day they begin to leave. Additions, like a "Gathering" or "Post" core night, to that base tour will allow all travelers the convenience of departing from as close to home as possible.

* The World’s Largest Rail Yard! That’s the site that can be seen from the Golden Spike Tower, North Platte, NE.
* Enjoy the scenery as we travel to Colorado Springs, CO, located at the eastern base of the Rocky Mountains.
* Explore and dine on your own prior to our first of two nights at the Drury Inn or similar - Colorado Springs, CO.

* Experience the unforgettable Manitou Cog Railway ride to Pike’s Peak. Be mindful of possible altitude sickness.
* Enjoy time to explore and have lunch in historic Manitou Springs, CO, known for its mineral springs and landscapes.
* Stunning vistas of red stone rock formations will greet us on our Garden of the Gods tour.
* We'll end the day with a Chuck Wagon Dinner & Show.

* Hop aboard the Royal Gorge Route Railroad!
* Upon disembarking the train, enjoy free time to explore and have lunch near Royal Gorge Bridge and Park.
* Indulge in free time to explore and dine in Alamosa. Nestled in the majestic San Luis Valley, Alamosa is known for its natural wonders and authentic cultural dining.
* Our stay tonight - the first of two nights - is at the Hampton Inn or similar - Alamosa, CO.
June 2
* Take in the beauty of Great Sand Dunes National Park & Preserve, home to the tallest dunes in North America.
* Prior to turning in this evening, continue your exploration and dine on your own in Alamosa.

* We start our day riding the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad! Lunch is included at Osier Station on the tour.
* At the Toh-Atin Gallery, we’ll have the honor of viewing quality Native American works of art.
* Enjoy time to dine on your own in Durango before our night at the Fairfield by Marriott or similar - Durango, CO.
June 4
* Welcome Aboard! The Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad is a 3-foot narrow gauge heritage railroad. It’s one of the last such railroad operations in the United States.
* Enjoy dinner on your own prior to turning in at the DoubleTree or similar - Grand Junction, CO.
June 5
* We’ll start the day with a scenic Rocky Mountain ride!
* Arriving in Vail, CO, enjoy having lunch on your own.
* Enjoy having dinner together before the first of two nights at the DoubleTree or similar - Greeley, CO.

* We’ll start our day with a one-of-a-kind miniature display - the Colorado Model Railroad Museum in Greeley, CO.
* Enjoy free time and lunch on your own in Golden, CO.
* Prior to turning in this evening, continue your exploration and dine on your own in Greeley, CO.

* This morning, continue exploring Greeley, CO before enjoying lunch on your own as we head to Kearney, NE.
* Tonight we'll enjoy dinner together prior to our overnight stay at the Holiday Inn or similar - Kearney, NE.
