October 1

* Take advantage of convenient departure options in INDIANA, ILLINOIS, IOWA, or MINNESOTA as we make our way to Sister Bay, WI.
* Upon arrival, we'll meet our knowledgeable local guide, who will remain with us throughout our tour.
* Our first tour stop will be the Door Peninsula Winery for a wine tasting and some shopping in their eclectic retail store featuring their award-winning wines and an assortment of locally sourced products.
* A perfect way to end our first day of touring is a food & wine pairing dinner at Thyme Restaurant - known for serving classic cuisine in combination with inspired new fare made with locally sourced ingredients.
* For the duration of our trip, we will be staying overnight at the Hearth Lodge at Sister Bay, or similar.

October 2

* This morning, we’ll take in panoramic views from Eagle Tower at Peninsula State Park, offering stunning perspectives of the surrounding park, nearby islands, and the Upper Michigan shoreline.
* Next we’ll tour Eagle Bluff Lighthouse, known as the "Guardian of the Strawberry Channel," to explore its maritime legacy and rich history.
* Lautenbach's Orchard Country Winery & Market will offer scenic views while enjoying a relaxing wagon ride through their beautiful vineyards and orchards.
* A unique lunch awaits us at Al Johnson’s Swedish Restaurant & Butik. Keep an eye out for goats on the roof!
* Our visit to Bjorklunden Stave Chapel will underscore the important role of Door County Scandinavian immigrants.
* Prior to dinner together, we’ll take a scenic drive to the tip of Door County, with photo stops along the way.

October 3

* Our day will start by attending a Dan Meunier concert at a historic schoolhouse. Dan is a piano composer/performer known for blending his music with captivating stories.
* A visit to Cave Point County Park offers us captivating views of caves formed from the Lake Michigan waves.
* Next, we’ll stop at Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal to take photos, and walk to the pier.
* Located in the heart of Door County, Door 44 Winery will be the next stop on our Door County Wine Trail adventure where we’ll enjoy a tasting of their award-winning wines.
* Home to more than 20 non-releasable birds, the Open Door Bird Sanctuary’s goal is to raise avian awareness and inspire coexistence with the rich natural world.
* Noted as one of Door County’s premier attractions, Simon Creek Winery’s winemaking team has crafted wines that received recognition and medals in international wine competitions. Cheers to all as we enjoy sampling some of their award-winning wines.
* Tonight, we'll experience a Door County fish boil dinner and watch as our meal cooks over an open wood fire. A perfect way to enjoy our last night in Door County!

* After breakfast at the hotel, we'll begin our journey home, carrying with us wonderful memories and photos to share with family and friends.
