This tour offers departure points in Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois, and Indiana. Depending on your pick-up point selection, the tour duration will be from 4 to 6 days. The price will vary accordingly. The “Base Tour”, or core, will begin on the day the last group of travelers join the tour, and end on the first day they begin to leave. “Additions”, like a "Gathering" or "Post" core night, to that base tour will allow all travelers the convenience of departing from as close to home as possible.

* Travelers departing from IOWA or MINNESOTA, take advantage of a transfer to our ‘gathering overnight’ hotel - the DoubleTree Hotel in Alsip, IL. All remaining travelers can either arrive on your own at the hotel for a complimentary overnight or choose to wait and join the group on June 11 from one of our identified Illinois or Indiana pick-up locations
* For those spending the night in the Chicagoland area, get acquainted with fellow travelers and your tour manager, and enjoy a complimentary breakfast the following morning

* Sit back and enjoy scenic landscapes as we travel through Michigan to Bay City, a relaxed waterfront town located near the base of Lake Huron’s Saginaw Bay
* Upon our arrival in Bay City, we’ll be welcomed with a guided tour
* Before a restful overnight at the DoubleTree in Bay City, we will all enjoy dinner at the hotel together

* Visit the National Historic Landmark Alden B. Dow Home & Studio, noted as an "oasis of architecture & inspiration"
* Welcome aboard! We’ll cross the Straits of Mackinac aboard Shepler’s Ferry to Mackinac Island, known as the "Bermuda of the North"
* We’ll delight in dinner together prior to turning in at the Lake View Hotel, our home-away-from-home for two nights. Take some time to enjoy the front porch rocking chairs - the perfect place to appreciate the Island views

* Island history comes alive as we enjoy a guide-narrated horse-drawn carriage ride
* Lunch at the Grand Hotel, a National Historic Landmark!
* Enjoy free time to explore the island at your leisure

* As we start our journey home, sit back, relax and enjoy the passing views while sharing your trip highlights with your fellow travel mates
* Travelers departing the tour in INDIANA and ILLINOIS, welcome back to your departure locations
