This tour offers departure points in Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois, and Indiana.  Depending on your pick-up point selection, the tour duration will be from 6 to 8 days.  The price will vary accordingly.  The “Base Tour”, or core, will begin on the day the last group of travelers join the tour, and end on the first day they begin to leave.  “Additions”, like a "Gathering" or "Post" core night, to that base tour will allow all travelers the convenience of departing from as close to home as possible.

July 8

* Travelers departing from IOWA, MINNESOTA and ILLINOIS, take advantage of our ‘gathering overnight’ hotel, the Hyatt Hotel in Mishawaka, IN. Remaining travelers can arrive on their own at the hotel for a complimentary night or join the group on July 9 from one of our departure locations.
* For those spending the night in Mishawaka, meet your fellow travelers and enjoy breakfast the next morning.

July 9

* Our adventure begins! Upon arriving in Sault Ste. Marie, MI (AKA "The Soo"), we’ll travel through Michigan’s upper peninsula crossing the US/Canadian border to Sault Ste. Marie, ON, Canada where we’ll enjoy dinner together.
* Our home-away-from-home for the next two nights is the Holiday Inn Express - Sault Ste. Marie, ON, Canada.

July 10

* All Aboard the Agawa Scenic Train - one of North America’s most popular train excursions.
* The full-day train journey will take us through breathtaking wilderness to Agawa Canyon, where we'll enjoy a boxed lunch before returning to Sault Ste. Marie, ON, Canada.
* Enjoy a free evening to have dinner on your own in one of Sault Ste. Marie’s restaurants located near our hotel.

July 11

* Crossing the border back into the U.S., we arrive in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. Here we’ll experience a true Sault Ste. Marie voyage - a maritime tour of the famous Soo Locks.
* Enjoy free time to explore Sault Ste. Marie’s Historic Water Street and have lunch.
* Next, Shepler’s Ferry will take us from St. Ignace, MI to Mackinac Island - known as the "Bermuda of the North."
The rest of the day is yours to explore the Island, with the first of our two-night stay at the Lake View Hotel, conveniently located near many restaurants.

* Enjoy the clip-clopping of hooves as Island history comes alive on your guided horse-drawn carriage ride.
* An event in itself, the Grand Hotel Buffet lunch features "garden-fresh salads, savory cheeses, slow-roasted meats, seafood and a wide selection of fruits and fresh-baked desserts made daily."
* Enjoy free time to continue your exploration of Mackinac Island - home of more than 13 fudge shops.

* Boarding Shepler’s Ferry, we’ll cross the Straits of Mackinac back to Mackinaw City where our motorcoach will be waiting to take us to Holland, MI.
* Our visit to Holland will include the Windmill Island Gardens, featuring the centuries-old De Zwaan windmill.
* Prior to our overnight stay at the Hampton Inn - Holland,MI, we’ll enjoy dinner together.

July 14

* The Wooden Bowl Mill will be our first stop of the day. Enjoy browsing the hand-crafted selection of bowls and other kitchenware.
* Enjoy some free time exploring the many shops and enjoying Dutch treats for lunch.
* As we start our journey home, enjoy the passing views while sharing your trip highlights with fellow travel mates.
* Travelers departing the tour in INDIANA and ILLINOIS, welcome back to your departure locations.
* Travelers continuing to Iowa and Minnesota, enjoy a relaxing overnight at the Doubletree Hotel - Alsip, IL.
