This tour offers departure points in Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois, and Indiana. Depending on your pick-up point selection, the tour duration will be from 6 to 7 days. The price will vary accordingly. The “Base Tour”, or core, will begin on the day the last group of travelers join the tour, and end on the first day they begin to leave. “Additions”, like a "Gathering" or "Post" core night, to that base tour will allow all travelers the convenience of departing from as close to home as possible.

October 2
* Group air transportation is included. Travelers departing from IOWA, INDIANA, and MINNESOTA, enjoy a transfer to our Chicagoland hotel for a gathering overnight.
* For those spending the night at the Chicagoland hotel, get to know your fellow travelers and tour host.
October 3
* Your adventure begins! Relax on your ride to Chicago’s O’Hare Airport where we’ll meet our Legacy Tour & Travel tour host before boarding our flight to Albuquerque, NM.
* Welcome to the "Land of Enchantment."
* Upon arrival, we’ll meet our preferred partner tour guide and transfer to our hotel.
* Tonight, we’ll gather for a fun welcome dinner before turning in at our home-away-from-home for the next three nights - the Hilton Garden Inn Uptown, Albuquerque, NM.
October 4
* A unique way to start our day is breakfast at the Chasers Club while viewing the Dawn Patrol’s mass balloon ascension with its rainbow colors.
* Later this morning, we’ll learn the history of turquoise mining at the Turquoise Museum.
* Driving through Albuquerque, also known as "The Jewel of the American Southwest," we’ll make our way to historic Old Town Albuquerque. Enjoy free time to have lunch on your own, explore hidden courtyards, stroll under covered portals, and shop at specialty stores and galleries.
* After a day of touring, the rest of the evening is yours to relax and enjoy dining on your own.
October 5
* We’ll begin our day with a ride on the Sandia Peak Tramway where we’ll enjoy awe-inspiring views of Albuquerque and balloons traveling through the valley.
* While at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, we’ll view artifacts and crafts and learn about the cultural and religious customs that assisted in the preservation of this society for over 1,000 years.
* Tonight, a memory-making event! We’ll enjoy dinner together at the Chaser Club which allows us direct access to the Fiesta Fields to view the Balloon Glow festivities and AfterGlow - Fireworks Show. Together, they are Balloon Fiesta’s most popular events.
October 6
* This morning, we’ll enjoy a drive along the Turquoise Trail leading us to the real-life ghost town of Madrid.
* Continuing through Santa Fe, we’ll visit Chimayo - an artisan community where descendants of Spanish weavers and woodcarvers still ply their crafts.
* We’ll make our way to the resort community of Taos where we’ll enjoy free time to explore the unique atmosphere and have lunch on your own.
* Before returning to Santa Fe, we’ll make stops at the Taos Pueblo and the Rio Grande.
* After checking into our home-away-from-home for the next two nights, the Courtyard by Marriott Santa Fe, NM, enjoy a free evening to explore and dine in Santa Fe - named "The Dancing Ground of the Sun" by early Native Americans.
October 7
* We’ll begin our day with a walking tour of Santa Fe, including the historic Santa Fe Plaza, Palace of the Governors, the Loretto Chapel, a miniature model of the Sainte-Chapelle in Paris, the oldest church in New Mexico, and more.
* Enjoy free time to explore and shop the many wonderful shops and art galleries including the Indian Market, where native arts and crafts are available directly from the artists themselves and have lunch on your own.
* This evening, we’ll join together to enjoy a farewell dinner.
October 8
* After breakfast, we’ll say farewell to New Mexico as we board our flight to Chicago’s O’Hare Airport.
* Upon arriving at O’Hare, you will be greeted by your transfer driver to return to your chosen departure location.
* You return home with wonderful memories and tales of your adventure to share with family and friends!
