Nashville tour with a singer/songwriter guide
This tour offers departure points in Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois, and Indiana. Depending on your pick-up point selection, the tour duration will be from 4 to 6 days. The price will vary accordingly. The “Base Tour”, or core, will begin on the day the last group of travelers join the tour, and end on the first day they begin to leave. “Additions”, like a "Gathering" or "Post" core night, to that base tour will allow all travelers the convenience of departing from as close to home as possible.

Good mobility is needed. There will be prolonged standing, stairs and walking longer distances over uneven ground.
October 20
* Travelers departing from IOWA and MINNESOTA, take advantage of a transfer to our ‘gathering overnight’ hotel at the DoubleTree - Alsip, IL. All remaining travelers can either arrive on your own at the hotel for a complimentary overnight or choose to wait and join the group on October 21 from one of our identified departure locations.
* For those spending the night in the Chicago area, get to know your fellow travelers and your tour manager, and enjoy a complimentary breakfast the following morning.
October 21
* After a day of travel, we’ll enjoy a buffet and show at the Derby Dinner Playhouse - a perfect way to begin our tour.
* Our overnight stay is at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott - Louisville, KY
October 22
* As we make our way to the Gaylord Opryland Resort, we’ll enjoy some "Southern Hospitality" and good food for lunch at Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen - Nashville, TN.
* After lunch, we’ll be met by our Nashville singer/songwriter guide for a "Music City U.S.A." tour. Our guide may even perform a few of their original songs!
* Enjoy free time dining and exploring the Gaylord Opryland Resort - our home-away-from-home for the next two nights - Nashville, TN. As part of your free time, consider viewing the Delta Atrium Light Show - while a brief performance, it is sure to be spectacular.
October 23
* A perfect way to start our day is a relaxing tour through Opryland’s 4.5-acre Delta Atrium on a Delta River Flatboat.
* We’ll enjoy a relaxing cruise and lunch with entertainment aboard the General Jackson Showboat.
* Next, we’ll have the opportunity to walk in the footsteps of legends with our Grand Ole Opry Backstage Tour.
* After dinner together, a special treat for us all - a Grand Ole Opry show (entertainment TBA).
October 24
* As we start our journey home, this will be a wonderful time for you to share your favorite tour sights and experiences with your fellow travel mates.
* Travelers departing the tour in INDIANA, welcome back to your departure locations.
* Travelers continuing to Illinois, Iowa and Minnesota, enjoy a relaxing overnight at the Hyatt - Mishawaka, IN.
